Enzo Boffa is a 20 years old, professional dancer from Paris, France, now living in Rotterdam.

When Enzo was 8 years old, he traded his kimono and soccer ball for new tights. Very quickly, dancing became his passion and way of living. Through lessons and internships in the south of France he learned to dance in multiple styles: modern jazz, contemporary, hip hop, street dance and classical. Enzo quickly traveled abroad to improve his styles with multiple international workshops. He entered his first national and international competitions as a soloist before participating in multiple French television programs.

At the age of 15 Enzo already left his family and moved to the French capital Paris in order to give himself every opportunity to start a professional career. He started working freelance doing mostly urban styles but also a lot of contemporary jazz and modern dance.

Enzo kept traveling a lot for internships with lots of different dancers to feed his knowledge and to expand his network, but even more to make his dream come true and to discover that his possibilities were limitless. Currently Enzo settled for a while in Rotterdam to study at Codarts Art University, but he is very eager to go out and show even more of his beautiful talent to the world again after his studies.

My motivation.

After dancing for many French and later international artists, I worked with different companies for a while. However I felt that I needed to discover more of myself and wanted space to express and develop myself and my dance styles. I decided to try codarts in Rotterdam and got accepted in 2021.

For me choosing to dance was because I feel the necessity of expressing myself and telling my story through movement and art. I feel like we can heal so many things through our art, heal ourselves and others. The freedom I find in dance is something I haven’t found anywhere else. For me this is a place where imagination is limitless and where mistakes don't exist. I truly believe artists can make the world a better place. I want to make it better, I want to serve my art and job and try to evolve with it and make it grow as much as I possibly can.
